Oblation Tsun with Turquoise lnaly and Gold Filament Eastern Chou period, Middle Warring States period (475-221 BC) Bronzes Height: 28.5 cm, length : 39.7 cm
Extending back to the art of inlay practiced in the Shang dynasty and flourishing in the Eastern Chou period, individual and combinations of precious metals and turquoise were used in inlays of this period. Along with the great variation in vessel types, it resulted in another peak in the art of bronze casting in China.
